創新科技署的「科技券計劃」是香港最受商家歡迎的政府資助計劃。為便利申請者盡早採用有關的科技服務或方案，創新科技署由2020年6月1日起，起放寬「科技券」申請者必須獲得署方批准方可開展項目的規定。所有申請者均最早可在遞交申請後翌日開展項目，預求盡快利用網上營商等資訊科技方案，在疫境中尋找最新出路。
創新科技署已將科技券納入為創新及科技基金下一個恆常的資助計劃。自2020年4月1日起，每名申請者的資助上限已增加至60萬元，最多可獲批六個項目，而每個項目一般應在12個月內完成。
